ChoiceBot for e-Retailers™ is a revolutionary new decision-assisting tool that you add to your e-commerce site, and that enables your shoppers to confidently decide which of your products to buy in less than 2 minutes.

ChoiceBot for e-Retailers™ is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering that is billed as a monthly subscription with no long-term commitment. The monthly fee is based on two factors:

Average monthly unique visitors (based on previous 12 months)
Number of product categories to be ChoiceBot-enabled

The monthly fee for sites with under 20,000 monthly unique visitors and one ChoiceBot-enabled product category is just $99/month, and the fee for "medium" sites with more traffic and multiple categories is generally in the low hundreds of dollars/month. The quoted monthly fee is guaranteed for 12 months (i.e., it does not change based on your traffic). Discounts are available for quarterly (10%) or annual (15%) payments.

Importing and updating your product data in ChoiceBot

ChoiceBot is able to import data in just about any structured data format (CSV, XML, Excel, TXT, etc.). Product data can be uploaded through the web-based ChoiceBot Universal Importer, or emailed, FTP’ed, etc. directly to ChoiceBot. Each new ChoiceBot subscription includes a free one-hour session with a ChoiceBot specialist, who will work with you to customize your ChoiceBot (add feature descriptions, units of measurement, etc.), and ensure that the user experience is optimized specifically for your product category/ies.

When your product catalog changes, simply upload/e-mail/FTP an updated version of your product data file to ChoiceBot, and your ChoiceBot will be automatically updated within 24 hours (usually much less). Automatic updates can be arranged on a custom basis. Contact us for details.

Adding ChoiceBot to your site

ChoiceBot is a self-contained Adobe Flash object, and can be embedded on any page(s) on your website with one line of HTML (similar to embedding a YouTube video on your site). Because ChoiceBot is just like any other HTML element (an image, etc.), it can be embedded in JavaScript lightbox layers, hidden panels, or in any number of other ways on your site.

When a shopper clicks on a "Buy now" button beside a product in ChoiceBot, a new browser window/tab is opened with the appropriate product detail page on your website, which does not need to be modified in any way.

Product categories that are well-suited to ChoiceBot, and a few that aren’t

ChoiceBot is designed for use with product categories where shoppers generally consider more than two or three features when evaluating products. This includes the vast majority of consumer and business offerings, but there are a few exceptions.
