Who decides which products, features and competitors are shown in the ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ widget on my site?

You do. Each ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ widget is custom-configured by the ChoiceBot Services Group based on your instructions.

How does ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ get updated?

Whenever your product changes or you want to update a competitor's information in the ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ widget on your site, simply email ChoiceBot Services Group and your change will be reflected within one business day.

What if my product doesn't come up as number one?

Yes, it is possible that a competing product could come up as the top-ranked product in ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ after the buyer has set their criteria. This potential, however, is what commands buyers' attention and trust. If your offering is genuinely competitive and well-rounded, it will show up as the best choice for most buyers because it's competitive and well-rounded.

How many products and comparison features can be included in ChoiceBot SmartCompare™?

A single ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ widget can contain an unlimited number of products and up to 72 features. ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ widgets for most sites, however, contain fewer than 12 products and 30 features

How long does it take to add ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ to my site?

The only tasks that are required on your part are to edit and approve the list of features and competitors proposed by the ChoiceBot Services Group for inclusion in your ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ widget, and to add the ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ HTML embed code to your marketing site on the page(s) where you want it to appear. In most cases, this adds up to less than a day of work. The entire process generally takes less than one week from beginning to end.

How do I get my buyers to use the ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ widget on my site?

ChoiceBot recommends that, at a minimum, you add ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ to lists of marketing assets relating to your product (white papers, technical data sheets, etc.), wherever such lists/menus appear on your marketing site.

Upon account activation, ChoiceBot Services Group will produce a one-minute video that "sells" ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ to your buyers, and that features your product. You can embed this video on the page on your site that hosts the ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ widget, as well as other pages on your site to raise awareness of your powerful new capability.

ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ can also be used as a lead generation tool by announcing it and linking to the page(s) on your site that host it in email campaigns, newsletters, etc. ChoiceBot Inc. is available to suggest compelling messaging that will bring buyers into your site to try ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ for themselves.

What about "other factors", like the reputation of my company, or our flexible licensing terms?

One of the unique aspects of ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ is that a "feature" can be any reason why a buyer might prefer one offering over another. "Technical support hours", "Vendor stability", "Quality control procedures", "Uptime guarantee", "Aesthetic appearance", "Standards compliance", etc., etc.

What makes ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ different than other product selection and recommendation tools?

Are there any product categories for which ChoiceBot SmartCompare™ is NOT appropriate?

Yes, a few:

  • Custom-built products such as highly configurable servers, custom-built homes, etc. Note that products with a limited number of customization options can be supported, however. Contact us if you're not sure -we can tell you right away.
  • Lifestyle products, such as high-end watches, jewelry, etc., where there are only a small number of considerations (usually brand or taste, and price).
